Bible Teachings

When the Word of God is proclaimed, it is supposed to "cut backwards and forwards." This means that believers must understand that we sin daily, according to the Scriptures. Death is justified from one sin.The Word of God, when proclaimed accurately, will always cause us to examine ourselves. In the Synoptic Gospels (gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke), our Savior, states that the world hates the truth. Therefore, it is understandable that we won't like what we see once we examine ourselves.

Christian Maturity

Christian maturity is essential. When we start to mature with God's Word, we can better understand the state we're in, and which direction to proceed. God outlines everything we need in His Holy Word. Every Christian should desire to become mature Christians.Mature Christians are made, not born. The more we know about God, the more we worship, praise, and honor Him. Conversely, the less we know about God, the less we worship, praise, and honor Him.

Mixed Congregations

"Every congregation has believers that are new to the faith, those that are familiar with the faith, and those that are mature in the faith." Every Christian believer should desire a higher spiritual understanding. The more we desire to hear, understand, and live God's Word, the more developed as a Christian we become.
